Job summary

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region is seeking an Employment Coach (VR) to provide community-based assistance and coaching to youth and adults pursuing vocational skills and independence. This part-time role focuses on preparing, educating, and supporting job search and placement under DORS guidance.

Primary work will occur in Harford, Cecil, and Baltimore counties with schedule 4 pm–9 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Para-educator or associates degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Human Services, Human Resources, Marketing and Sales, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience working with people with differing abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based assistance to youth and adults seeking vocational skills and independence.
• Prepare, educate, training, job search/placement and coaching support under DORS guidance, aligned with The Arc NCR's mission.
• Support individuals in Harford, Cecil, and Baltimore counties with coaching and placement in various employment settings.
