VEG is expanding its team and seeks a Part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to work on the front lines of emergency care, handling a range of cases from minor to complex emergencies.
You’ll collaborate with our doctors and team, performing triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing, while providing a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents in their most stressful moments.
Responsibilities
- Treat every patient and person with care, staying by their side through tests, treatments, and recovery
- Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge during emergencies
- Administer meds, monitor patients, manage IVs and transfusions as part of critical care
