Emergency Veterinary Services of Lisle is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced emergency team in Lisle, IL. Credentialed or non-credentialed applicants are welcome, with no overnight shifts and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

1+ year veterinary technician experience required.
CVT or credentialed technician preferred but not required.
Strong technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and treat hospitalized patients.
Perform in-house laboratory testing.
Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures.
Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
Place IV catheters and perform blood draws.
Take and position radiographs.
Restrain patients for procedures and exams.
Provide client communication and education.
Communicate with referring veterinarians as needed.
Assist with occasional reception duties.
Maintain hospital cleanliness and organization.
Support the team with additional duties as assigned.
