Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group in Utah is seeking a part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 ER network. You’ll handle a wide range of emergencies, work with a collaborative team, and advance your skills through VEG Education programs and mentorship.

This role emphasizes hands-on care, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow within a supportive, culture-driven environment while serving pets and their families.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree is required.
• Experience in emergency medicine and emergency surgery is required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a noisy environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage emergency patients in a fast-paced hospital.
• Perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures.
• Gather clinical data and create diagnostic/therapeutic plans.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options to clients.
• Document medical records accurately.
