Job summary

Sylvania in Blaine, MN is hiring a part-time Elementary Paraeducator for 184 days, 3 hours per day (11:05 AM - 2:05 PM). This position involves outdoor recess supervision with another adult and does not include student instructional support.

Responsibilities include supervising high-traffic areas such as hallways, playgrounds, and lunchroom, plus copy room duties. A high school diploma is required and candidate must be in-building with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Good communications and recordkeeping skills; ability to work with technology and computers.
• Able to cooperate with students and staff and supervise students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise areas where students gather (hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, lunchroom).
• Assist teachers/administration with copy room duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).
