Study Smart Tutors in Bladensburg, MD is seeking a Part-Time Elementary Math Tutor to support students after school. You will tutor small and large groups, access class assignments, adapt materials, and collaborate with our Education team to deliver effective strategies.

Candidates must hold a completed 4-year degree, have tutoring or teaching experience, and be available in person on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 1:55 PM to 3:55 PM EST. A background check may be required based on location.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
• Partner with Study Smart's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours: Tuesdays through Thursdays from 1:55 PM - 3:55 PM EST
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
