Job summary

Meskwaki Nation Child Support Services seeks an Elders Circle Coordinator to manage MEC referrals, coordinate alternative dispute resolution activities, and write case notes and engagement plans. The role involves monthly reporting, training development, and maintaining confidentiality while engaging with tribal members and elders.

The position supports MCCSS operations, requires strong communication and teamwork, and may involve travel to participate in MEC activities and trainings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus two years administrative or customer service experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or master's in related fields may be preferred for leadership roles.
• Experience with Native communities or tribal organizations is a plus.
• Experience working with elders and courts is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives referrals from Case Manager for MEC and coordinates services.
• Provides orientation of alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Coordinates mediation scheduling with clients and MEC members.
• Writes case notes, summaries, and family engagement plans.
• Prepares monthly activity, meetings, and budget reports for supervision.
