Job summary

Billings Public Schools is seeking a part-time Curriculum and Instructional Coach (English Language Arts) to support middle school teachers across multiple buildings. The role emphasizes aligning ELA curriculum with the Science of Reading and using research-based practices.

The coach will partner with the district Curriculum & Instruction team to provide classroom guidance, plan professional development, and contribute to literacy initiatives, including literature review and instructional

Qualifications

• Requires a current Montana Educator License.
• Experience supporting middle school instruction is preferred.
• Familiarity with English Language Arts standards and the Science of Reading.

Responsibilities

• Support teacher instruction across multiple middle schools.
• Partner with the Curriculum & Instruction team to align ELA curriculum and resources.
• Lead/assist professional development related to reading instruction and literacy development.
• Contribute to district ELA initiatives, including literature reviews and curriculum projects.
