Qualifications

• Must meet the DHS Educator’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Previous child-care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Educator with age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain a positive classroom culture that supports belonging and safety.
• Provide active supervision to ensure student safety in classroom and outdoors.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of the classroom and materials.
• Support family communication during drop-off/pick-up and via the center platform.
