You will assist with lesson plans, supervise activities, and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom. The role emphasizes social-emotional growth, family communication, and adherence to licensing requirements, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet the DHS Educator’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Physically able to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Educator with play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Help maintain a positive classroom culture with belonging, safety, and curiosity.
• Provide active supervision to ensure student safety and engagement.
• Assist in observing and recording developmental milestones.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of the classroom.
• Greet families and support positive drop-off/pick-up interactions.
