Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs in New Jersey. The role focuses on creating engaging, educational activities while ensuring safety and well-being for children.

The Educator will lead daily activities, collaborate with staff, and uphold our mission to inspire a love of learning. This part-time position offers split shifts, with mornings and afternoons, and requires physical capability to assist children and carry equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team setting.
• At least 1 year of experience with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Desire to inspire a love of learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program meetings to review goals and progress.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum for the program.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Monitor safety, address hazards, and document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
