Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Part Time Adjoint Instructor NP/PA (PRN) to provide clinical care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include patient care for low-acuity ED cases, triage, data review, and education under physician supervision.

Active CO licensing as a PA or NP, plus BLS/ACLS and a relevant graduate degree, are required. Preference for Spanish speakers; on-site work in the Denver metro area.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado license as PA or NP required.
• Certificate from a CAAHEP/ARC-PA program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Master's degree for PA/NP required.
• Minimum 1 year post-grad ED/urgent care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and exams on episodic, low-acuity ED patients.
• Assist physicians with data collection and patient management decisions.
• Triage and monitor patients and arrange appropriate referrals.
• Schedule appointments and provide patient education.
• Deliver direct patient care as directed and assist with medications.
• Engage in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.
