Job summary

Wareham Public Schools seeks a dedicated, collaborative Early Childhood Special Education Itinerant Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This grant funded, part-time position provides specialized instruction and special education services to children ages 3–5 within Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative (CPPI) preschool settings throughout Wareham, Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Special Education or Early Childhood.
• Certification: Moderate Disabilities (Pre-K-9 or equivalent).
• SEI Endorsement: Sheltered English Immersion endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and consultation aligned with each student's IEP.
• Collaborate with preschool staff, families, related service providers and district personnel.
• Monitor student progress toward IEP goals using ongoing data collection and observation.
• Support inclusive early childhood settings and use adaptive instructional strategies.

Education
