Qualifications

• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Moderate/Severe Profound Special Needs.
• CPI training required.
• Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check completed.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current strategies and interventions for students using IEP, FBA, and direct observation.
• Provide individual educational and behavioral support to improve academics and behavior.
• Participate in designing IEPs and attend meetings as needed.
• Implement services and supports to keep students in the least restrictive setting.
• Communicate with families about students' educational lives.
• Provide training and support to staff working with SPED students across settings.
• Guide paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Analyze evaluation data for students/programs.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to improve programming.
