Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Fall River, MA. This full-time role focuses on creating a safe, structured classroom to support social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth for young children with developmental delays.

You will collaborate with families, specialists, and leadership to implement evidence-based practices, including PBIS and trauma-informed strategies, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• MA DESE Certification in Teacher of Students with Moderate/Severe Disabilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with children with behavioral challenges in early education or special education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood and special education practices.
• Support children with developmental delays and diverse learning styles.
• Implement PBIS strategies to promote positive behavior.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support challenging behavior.
• Develop individualized strategies aligned with IEPs and behavior plans.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to support progress.
• Maintain required records and ensure regulatory compliance.
