CHS Career Site is seeking an Echo Technologist for a seasonal role with days shift on a 4/10 schedule. The technologist performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies, ensures patient safety, and collaborates with physicians to provide accurate images for evaluation.

Responsibilities include 2-D, M-mode, and Doppler imaging, stress echo with quick post-exercise capture, TEEs assistance, and precise EMR documentation while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler).
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with healthcare staff.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment safely and accurately.
• EMR documentation and patient information handling.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per guidelines.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Acquires stress echo and Dobutamine images within established timelines.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) when needed.
• Documents preliminary results and patient data in EMR.
