Job summary

Catholic Health Physician Practices is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform high-quality echocardiographic studies and support accurate cardiac diagnoses. Join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program with ARDMS eligibility/ certification, a minimum of two years of direct patient care, and strong computer literacy for data entry and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS certification required or eligible.
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to lift/move patients and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, and stress echo).
• Analyze and calculate cardiac measurements (e.g., ejection fraction, valve gradients).
• Identify normal and abnormal cardiac structures and function.
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and exam room cleanliness.
• Enter and transmit data into clinical systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and assist with contrast administration as needed.
