Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies following departmental standards and physician guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Acquires stress echo and Doppler images per benchmark standards.
• Assists physicians with TEEs, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient care.
• Documents preliminary reports and patient information in the EMR with confidentiality.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and consents prior to procedures.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to communicate changes for timely evaluation and interpretation by cardiologists.
