Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general Internet usage.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to case-manage multiple students.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Early Childhood Education coordinator(s) weekly to stay informed about course content and coverage.
• Coach students, especially English Language Learners (ELLs), to support understanding of coursework and assignments.
• Coach students in coursework, fieldwork, and portfolio development in individual and group sessions.
• Case manage students in entry-level courses to support earning the ECE Micro Badge and CDA Prep Certificate.
• Work with childcare centers to recruit and retain incumbent ECE staff for the program.
• Provide support for grant reporting as needed.
• Submit weekly reports summarizing students met with and supports provided.
