Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Part-Time Store Cleaning & Maintenance Associate in the United States to support early morning operations starting at 6am. The role focuses on cleaning, maintenance, and basic repairs to ensure a safe, inviting shopping environment for customers and staff.

You will manage chemical supplies, adhere to safety guidelines, and perform routine upkeep while engaging customers and supporting store standards. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by maintaining a clean, inviting store environment.
• Clean floors, windows, restrooms, and disposal areas per procedures.
• Maintain chemicals and supplies, rotate stock, and place orders when low.
• Stay up to date on training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed (light bulbs, tiles, hoses, hardware).
• Use Kohl’s tools and technology to communicate with the team.
• Report repairs requiring outside vendor support to store management.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance.
