Job summary

Catapult Learning is hiring an Early Literacy Tutor to provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing in Northbridge, MA. This part-time role pays $35-36 per hour.

The tutor will diagnose skill deficits, coordinate with school staff, and communicate progress with parents. Training will cover Company-designed models, with emphasis on age-appropriate lesson plans and safe student supervision.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred.
• Must complete an FBI/BCI background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
• Communicate and conference with parents, providing information on student progress
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills using Company-designed materials
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company and local, state, and/or federal agencies
