Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a compassionate DSP to support an adult with developmental disabilities at home or in the community. The role emphasizes consistent schedules, safety, and helping the client engage in activities that promote communication, independence, and personal goals.

You will participate in games and routines, assist with daily tasks, and document services while staying reliable and positive.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Experience preferred.
• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Participate in games and academic activities, encouraging communication skills, listening to music, and engaging in activities he enjoys, such as car rides and trips to the park. Bring enthusiasm, encouragement, and a willingness to make everyday activities fun, engaging, and meaningful!
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team. Your reliability and dedication will help create a positive, supportive, and consistent experience for the individual and family.
