Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Warren, NJ is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one placement serving an adult with developmental disabilities in Somerset County. This role is suitable for students, educators, or caregivers seeking meaningful part-time work.

You will support daily activities, encourage communication and independence, and ensure safety. Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; driving on shift is required; pay ranges $19–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Reliable and able to follow the exact posted schedule.
• Patient, dependable, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Willingness to complete onboarding and background checks.
• Experience in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Encourage communication, social activities, and independence.
• Assist with routines and activities per individual needs.
• Maintain safety and follow support plans.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate with the Kindly team.
• Engage in games and activities the individual enjoys (e.g., parks, car rides).

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.

• Experience Preferred
