Kindly Direct Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support in Hillsborough, NJ 08844. The role is ideal for college students, educators, or human-services professionals seeking meaningful part-time work.

The DSP will support a 24-year-old adult with autism in daily activities, community outings, and independent goal progress, following personalized instructions and ensuring safety.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Provide support to a 24-year-old high-functioning individual with autism who enjoys shopping, going out to eat, visiting the library, and other community activities. The ideal DSP should be reliable, calm, and easygoing, providing companionship and engaging in activities together.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
