Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable DSP to provide one-to-one support for an adult with developmental disabilities in Warren, NJ. You will engage in activities at home and in the community, helping with communication, independence, and personal goals while following personalized care plans.

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Experience preferred.
• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Participate in games and academic activities, encouraging communication skills, listening to music, and engaging in activities he enjoys, such as car rides and trips to the park. Bring enthusiasm, encouragement, and a willingness to make everyday activities fun, engaging, and meaningful!
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team. Your reliability and dedication will help create a positive, supportive, and consistent experience for the individual and family.

Pay: 21-24/hr
