Part Time Drafting Pressure Vessel & Process Piping Instructor

SUNY Niagara seeks a part‑time Drafting Instructor to teach courses in the Drafting department within the Business and STEM division. The instructor will teach campus classes, advise students, track attendance, report grades and learning outcomes, and participate in faculty meetings. The position requires presence on the Sanborn campus for meetings and professional development.

Department: Computer‑Aided Drafting & Design

Working Hours: Monday and Wednesday 2:00 pm–5:45 pm

Remuneration

Persons teaching at least 3 credits per semester: $1,008 per lecture hour / $903 per lab hour.

Essential Functions

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Drafting.
• Two years of drafting experience.

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Technology.
• Five years of experience in AutoCAD, process piping, and pressure vessel design and drafting.
