SUNY Niagara has a need for part‑time instructors to teach beginning drawing within a structured foundation arts program. Responsibilities include teaching foundation drawing with a primary emphasis on drawing from observation. The instructor will be provided with a general syllabus that includes essential learning objectives and will develop appropriate exercises and assignments to meet critical learning goals.
Ability to work with, and teach a diverse student population. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co‑workers, supervisors and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must be able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position.
