Job summary

BioLife in Georgetown, TX seeks a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy duties. You will support plasma center operations, greet donors, take vital signs, and maintain donor records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional 32–50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Glove wear for most tasks due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year customer/patient facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for improvements and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
