Job summary

Goodwill South Florida seeks a part-time Retail Associate for Flamingo Park Plaza in Hialeah, FL 33012 to assist customers, process donations, stock shelves, and operate the cash register.

You will greet donors, sort and price items, maintain store cleanliness, and support daily operations. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; high school diploma preferred; evenings/weekends required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
• 6 months of related experience or training is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cashiering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations: greet donors, accept and unload donated materials, and thank donors for their items.
• Processing: sort, separate, and hang clothing and household items; sort, test, clean, and mark small appliances, housewares, shoes, seasonal items and more.
• Cashiering: conduct sales transactions and manage cash/credit card handling per procedures.
• Cleaning: maintain bathrooms, floors, shelves, windows, break room, fixtures, and store exterior.
• Customer service: assist customers, price merchandise, help with fittings, offer recycling bags, explain store operations, and support sales.
