Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. is seeking a Donations Associate at our Corpus Christi location to greet donors, accept donations, and assist with unloading and sorting donations.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service and upholding Goodwill values. Responsibilities include handling donation receipts, maintaining a clean workspace, following safety procedures, and supporting team objectives in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a professional mannerism with a high degree of customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal employees and external customers
• Ability to work well with others in a respectful and collaborative work manner
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
• Ability to read, and write with the ability to comprehend and complete agency forms as required for operational purposes
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from the general public and assist in sorting based on established program guidelines
• Provide donation receipt upon request from the donor
• Maintains a clean, organized work area that is presentable to the general public and meets agency standards
• Attend scheduled meetings as required
• Perform custodial duties as necessary
• Adhere to and enforce all safety and loss prevention procedures to prevent injury to others or him/herself and damage to any property, equipment, and/or inventory
• Embrace the core values of the agency in the spirit in which the agency operates at work and in the community
• Contribute to the fulfillment of department and agency objectives and goals
• Comply with all department and agency policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
