Job summary

Capella University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to deliver online instruction and mentor graduate students. The role includes curriculum development, governance participation, and ongoing scholarly activity to support Capella's accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate and a track record in online higher education, with the ability to lead dissertation supervision and cross-functional collaboration within the school.

Responsibilities

• Teaching online courses and resident mentoring.
• Chairing or serving on doctoral committees and guiding dissertations.
• Design and continuous improvement of courses and course materials.
• Participate in school governance through faculty committees.
• Contribute to scholarship and professional practice in the discipline.
• Lead or support departments through team engagement and leadership roles.
• Pursue areas of emphasis such as Learner Management, Research and Advising, or Accreditation.
