The State of Connecticut, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a part-time Motor Vehicle Examiner in the Vehicle Business Regulation division located in Wethersfield, CT. The role focuses on processing dealer registrations, titles, and NMVTIS-related tasks while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

The position offers a part-time schedule with first shift hours and prorated benefits; candidates will interact with the public and support DMV operations across multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of clerical experience.
• One (1) year of clerical experience with substantial face-to-face public interaction or customer service.

Responsabilités

• Reviews applications and supporting documents for licenses, registrations and titles to ensure accuracy.
• Handles cash transactions, fees and balances cash drawers.
• Provides customer service and information to the public and DMV staff.
• Records and processes registrations, titles and related documents.
• Operates office equipment and basic computer terminals as part of routine tasks.
