Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Coordination Driver in Akron, OH. In this role, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support timely responses to security needs at a manufacturing and industrial location.

You will maintain a visible presence and provide exceptional customer service while following policy requirements. The position offers flexible scheduling, including day shifts on weekends, and the opportunity to claim

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, and service requests to appropriate personnel throughout the location.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, radio communications, and shift activity documentation per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely information to site contacts and responding personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
