Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Officer in Akron, OH. You will monitor and protect clients across healthcare locations, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
Maintain readiness of assigned equipment in line with policies and licensing requirements.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
