Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol Protection in Akron, OH. You will provide security, monitor assigned areas, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This role requires an armed guard card, the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, and a commitment to safety. Minimum requirements include an armed license, 21+ age, a high school diploma, and passing background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Maintain proper handling and readiness of assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
