Job summary

Allied Universal in Akron, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at a designated site.

Pay rate is $20.45 per hour. The role features fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings, while performing access control, visitor verification, patrols, and incident response.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and promptly; notify relevant contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Support a professional environment by communicating observations clearly and following post orders.
