Job summary

Très L.A. is seeking a dependable Part-Time Event Dishwasher to support catered events at the Pacific Design Center, Très L.A. Bistro & Bar, and other locations across Los Angeles.

This role is ideal for picking up shifts alongside another job or commitment. Evening and weekend availability is essential, with shifts scheduled in advance based on events and business needs. You will wash and sanitize dishes, help with setup and breakdown, keep work areas clean, and follow all food-safety policies

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Card required.
• Reliable transportation and availability for nights, weekends, and late shifts.
• Prior dishwasher or kitchen utility experience preferred but not required.
• Must work quickly and stay organized in a busy event environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, kitchen equipment, and serviceware.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, packing, and cleaning as assigned.
• Collect, sort, and organize dirty dishes and equipment during and after service.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost, and keep designated areas neat and stocked.
• Assist chefs and the event team with basic support tasks as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.

Très L.A. is looking for dependable, hardworking Dishwashers to join our part-time culinary team for catered events at thePacific Design Center, Très L.A. Bistro & Bar, and other event locations throughout Los Angeles.

This role is ideal for someone looking to pick up shifts alongside another job or commitment. Shifts are scheduled in advance but vary based on events and business needs, so strong evening and weekend availability is essential.

What You’ll Do

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, kitchen equipment, and serviceware
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift

What We’re Looking For

• Prior dishwasher, steward, kitchen utility, restaurant, or event experience preferred—but not required
• A reliable, positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a busy kitchen or event environment
• Comfortable with physically active work, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying dish racks and equipment, setup, breakdown, and cleaning duties
• Reliable transportation and availability for nights, weekends, and occasional late shifts—sometimes as late as3:00 AM
• Flexibility to pick up scheduled shifts as business needs arise
• Current Food Handler Card required
