Job summary

Independence Village of Grand Ledge is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. Shifts are 8am-2pm or 4pm-8pm and require adherence to health and safety protocols.

Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required; a friendly attitude and good teamwork are essential. Strong communication with staff and residents is important in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
