Job summary

Independence Village New Hudson is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment, supporting a clean and efficient diners' environment.

This role requires reliability, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work well with residents, families, and the culinary staff. No heavy lifting beyond 25 pounds; standing most of the shift and following health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
