Job summary

Independence Village Inc. is seeking a part-time Dishwasher at Independence Village of Zionsville West. The role focuses on washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment, with a 4pm-8pm shift.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to health and safety codes, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Prior dishwashing experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
