Job summary

Venture Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role includes helping with household tasks, meals, transportation, appointments, and community activities, while following Behavior Support Plans and medical guidelines. Training is provided and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meals, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal care.
• Help with medical appointments, banking, community activities, and outings.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
• Attend paid training and orientation; maintain certifications as required.
