Venture Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to advocate for adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them participate actively in daily life and community activities. The role includes housing support, meal prep, errands, attending medical appointments, following support plans, and assisting with medications when needed.

Paid training, CPR/First Aid, and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $500 for part-time employees

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
• Attend medical appointments, banking, and participate in community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals.
