Job summary

Alpha Health Services is seeking a part-time DSP to provide one-on-one support to a participant in home and community settings under ISP guidance. The role emphasizes transportation, independence promotion, and progress documentation.

We offer competitive pay ($18.00–$22.00/hr) with mileage reimbursement and flexible ~10 hours per week. Eligibility includes PA driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to pass PA ODP background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DSP or direct care role is required.
• Valid PA driver’s license with active auto insurance.
• Ability to document progress and follow ISP.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to activities and appointments per ISP goals.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, or condition and report changes.
• Document participant behavior and progress.
• Follow care plans tailored to participant needs.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with care team and family.
• Complete PA ODP training and maintain certifications.
