Zusammenfassung

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with IDD in completing everyday living tasks and achieving personal goals. The role is part-time, Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–5:30pm, with location in Wilmington, NC, and compensation at $18.00 per hour (training rate $12.00).

You will provide care in the client’s home and community, support with housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, and scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols.

Aufgaben

• Provide care in the home of the individual and community.
• Assist with daily tasks including housekeeping, meals, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and diaper changes.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Help plan and organize their schedule.
• Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record.
