Job summary

Beyond Support Network in Fredonia, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time role in Chautauqua County. You will work with individuals with developmental/learning disabilities to help them live independently and participate in their communities.

This 17.5-hour-per-week position pays $20 per hour. Responsibilities include community integration, transportation, budgeting support, and assisting with medical appointments, with training provided on safety and care practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid NY Driver’s License and own vehicle for transporting individuals.
• First Aid, CPR and Defensive Driving completed upon hire.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide community integration and transportation support.
• Assist individuals to live independently in the community.
• Support budgeting and money management activities.
• Assist with social interactions and medical appointments as directed.
• Follow supervisor guidance and document activities as required.
