Job summary

Beyondwny is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Day Hab sites in Amherst, Buffalo, Kenmore and West Seneca. This on-site, part-time role runs 7am–2:30pm and pays $20.00 per hour.

The DSP helps adults with developmental disabilities build independence and social skills through community activities. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred one year in health and human services with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: One year pertinent experience in health and human service related field and experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License in good standing, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities to promote independent living skills.
• Support in day hab activities and community outings 7am - 2:30pm.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and document progress.
