Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep and household tasks.
• Encourage independence and help individuals make daily-life choices.
• Support community participation, appointments, and recreational activities.
• Follow individualized service plans and document progress daily.
• Promote dignity, respect, inclusion and self-advocacy.
• Assist with medication administration and health-related needs as trained.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required records.
• Communicate with supervisors, families and support teams.
• Follow agency policies, procedures and safety requirements.
• Respond to emergencies and report concerns per agency rules.
• Be a positive role model and advocate for individuals we support.
