Job summary

Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide care and support to individuals residing in our care homes. The DSP will assist with personal care, promote independence, and help create a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Administer medications and document accurately following prescribed schedules.
• Provide emotional support and foster positive relationships with our individuals.
• Facilitate and engage in recreational and community activities with the individuals.
• Observe and monitor residents’ health conditions and report any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation and records of care.
