Job summary

Access Services is seeking a caring and patient Part-Time Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in Lehighton and Tamaqua, PA. Paid training is provided, so no prior experience is necessary.

You will provide individualized support in home or community settings, follow each person’s plan of care, and document progress while collaborating with families and case managers. Benefits include PTO and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Background checks, physical examination, and driving history must be cleared.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of direct care experience preferred.
• Valid US driver's license for at least two years.
• No serious traffic convictions in past three years.
• Ability to learn and use workplace technologies.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home or community settings.
• Provide supports as outlined in the plan of care with approved interventions.
• Maintain accurate case notes for individuals served.
• Participate in supervision, training, and professional development.
