Job summary

Burton Center for Disabilities & Special Needs is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join a residential program in Greenwood, SC. The role involves supporting up to 8 adults with disabilities through person-centered training, independence, and community engagement.

The position is second shift, 12–25 hours per week, with training provided and opportunities to contribute to meaningful activities and outings.

Qualifications

• SC Driver's License is required.
• Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Be adaptive, a team player, and advocate for others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support up to 8 adults with disabilities in a Residential IC(F) setting.
• Provide person-centered coaching, training, and community engagement.
• Assist with daily living activities including self-care and personal hygiene.
